Accounting Specialist [Indonesia]

  • Managing and carry out financial reports, with quality data, including assist for budgets, income statements, balance sheets; tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies; financial management reports to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements, responsibilities and obligations.
  • Reviewing financial statements to ensure accounting principles were applied correctly
  • Verifying and processing payment (including employee expenses) to align with the budget and sup-porting document with high accurately and timely
  • Preparing reports for senior management about the financial status of the business in order to make strategic decisions about future operations
  • Preparing financial statements (such as income statements and balance sheets) by identifying entries from journals and ledgers that need to be recorded in the accounting system
  • Preparing budgets based on projected revenues and expenses for a department or company
  • Preparing documentations for VAT and WH taxes (e.g PPh Pasal 15, 23, 4(2))
  • Monitoring account receivable and overdue from external party or business partner
  • Developing and monitoring SOP’s specifically related finance, and expenses
  • Entering data to SAP and make sure it updated
  • Administration and filling all financial and accounting records
  • Any others duties and responsibilities which assigned by the management
Education / Professional Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields preferred.
  • A Certified of Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Brevet is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate accounting/financial function or in public accountant office
  • Familiar with SAP and Concur (similar employee expenses application) will be an added advantage
Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics
  • Critical math skills and a proven ability to difficult calculations
  • Strong analytical skills, details and accuracy of numbers
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially in Powerpoint and Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flair for numbers
  • Team player
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment while working under pres-sure and tight deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to multi-task
