APG are currently looking for Newcastle and Maitlands most hard working/strong and fit candidates to work within our client’s poultry production factory. This would entail working in the front end of the operation which involves receiving, hanging & processing the live turkey/chickens on a fast-paced production line.
The successful applicants will not be afraid to get their hands dirty (areas will require you to work with blood & innards of the bird) as well as the ability to lift 15kg.
Casual pay rate - $28.33 you will also be rewarded with ongoing and consistent work!
TO BE SUCCESFUL:
- Hard working and 100% reliable for this key position
- No birds, chickens or pigs at home
- Own car and drivers licence
- Flexible for shift work, Monday to Friday on a weekly roster including overtime in peak periods - weekends and public holidays if required
- Achieve client’s daily production and bird delivery targets
- Be fit and healthy for labour intensive/manual handling work – this position is very physically demanding and requires only the fittest candidates to apply
- Capable of fast, repetitive heavy lifting and comfortable working around, birds, dirty areas & sorting innards in the evisceration area.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time – approx 8-10 hour per shift
- Available for an immediate start
