The Opportunity

Join the Interpreter IO team to leverage your existing interpreting knowledge while growing in a new role.

We're looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team as an Interpreter IO Sales and Support Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving sales and helping our clients get the most out of the Interpreter IO solution. The role involves, but is not limited to:

  • sales support (pre-sales software demonstrations),
  • on-boarding new clients including configuration
  • supporting interpreters
  • training of new clients, software support
  • account management.

Multiple roles are available to support the North American market. This is an early career role. Therefore, you may be a fresh graduate, an interpreter who is looking for a change or other language professional who wants to be part of something special.

As a Interpreter IO SAASSales Support Specialist, you'll be the face of our company to potential and existing clients. You'll be responsible for conducting pre-sales software demonstrations to showcase the power and efficiency of Interpreter IO. You'll need to be a skilled presenter and be able to articulate the benefits of our interpreter management software platform in a clear and concise manner.

Once a client signs on, you'll be responsible for on-boarding them onto our platform. This will include configuring the software to meet their unique needs and providing training to ensure they get the most out of our solutions. You'll need to be a great listener and be able to understand the client's requirements to provide tailored solutions.

As part of your role, you'll also be responsible for providing ongoing software support to clients and interpreters. You'll be the first point of contact for any technical issues they encounter and will work closely with our development team to ensure timely resolution. You'll need to be a problem solver and have a strong client centred focus.

Finally, you'll also be responsible for account management, building strong relationships with our clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our solutions. You'll need to be a great communicator and be able to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth for our clients.

Requirements

  • High speed reliable internet (necessary for remote work)
  • Friendly, happy and optimistic attitude
  • Ability to work independently - with superior self motivation
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Advanced user or technology software solutions
  • Understanding of interpreting services
  • The majority of this will be performed remotely, however the willingness and ability to travel is a requirement for this position.

The role may require attendance at tradeshows and other industry events (typically in your home region). Therefore, a passport (or the ability to obtain a passport is highly desirable).

Compensation

Compensation will be a base salary (MXN 7000 to MXN 9000 per month plus the opportunity for bonuses.

Training and Support
Two weeks of detailed training will be provided. This is paid training.

During the training period, staff may need to work non-standard hours.

Anywhere in Mexico.

USA Central Standard Time (CST) 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
