Global Business Manager Greece (M/F) – Nexans Opticable Greece

Location : Great Athens area / Full remote
Type of contract : permanent contract

Context : to support and accelerate our growth in the region, we are looking for a Global Business Manager to manage Greece and Balkans sales and the legal entity of Opticable Greece.

Purpose : based in Greece (great Athens area) with the need for travel in Greece and Balkans, you are responsible for selling all Telecom Systems products, services and solutions in the area. You have an in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, and excels at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. You are a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills.

Main responsibilities :
Sales & Marketing Management
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage sales and projects business opportunities
  • Create and execute the strategic sales plan for the region
  • Establish partnerships and long-term professional relationships with customers and partners to promote products and services
  • Define and coordinate marketing strategy and support in order to develop the brand in the region
  • Support / manage the local agents on all their business needs (offer management, follow up, customers meetings, contracts…)

General Management
  • In charge of the general governance of the legal entity
  • Manage the reporting of the legal entity
  • Direct and oversee the implementation of all company policies, authorizations and delegations

Required qualifications:
  • Technical, engineering or commercial education
  • Strong professional experience in the sale of technical products for Telecom or industry (Telecom, electromechanical components (e.g. connectors), IT, cable, security technology, etc…)
  • Used to work in an International Environment

Required skills:
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Entrepreneurship mindset
  • Sales strategy / Negotiation and contracting / Customer relationship
  • Aptitude for analytics and problem-solving
  • Persistent, self-motivated and drive to win
